IMS is a standards body. IMS standards implemented in Moodle include:
- IMS Enterprise enrolment data plugin
- IMS content package resource
- IMS Common Cartridge import and export
- External tool - an activity module supporting IMS LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability)
- Option to export a book as an IMS CP
