With the Assignment - Video, you can create assignments where students have to hand-in video recordings.
The Assignment - Video is setup in the same way as a regular assignment in learnIT by adding a name, description, submission times, grading options, and more. The only difference here is that students are able to submit videos as their hand-in. This creates a few benefits:
- Teachers have an easy overview of all the videos when watching and providing feedback.
- You can simply ask your students to use learnIT Media as the platform for hosting their videos.
- The videos by entirely GDPR compliant.
- Students will always maintain the rights to their videos
Please be aware: Videos submitted by students will automatically appear in the Course Media section. We are working on a solution for this problem. In the meantime, make sure to disable automatic embedding of course videos into the Course Media, if you do not want the assignments to show up in this area.
