Worth noting is the "Status" dropdown menu. The course can take these statuses:

  • Offered again: The course was offered at an earlier semester.
  • Not offered this semester: Was offered earlier, but not this semester
  • New: A brand new course
  • Discontinued: Has been offered at an earlier semester, but will not be offered again.
  • Cancelled: Was offered either as a new or reoffered course this current semester, but is cancelled for some reason.
  • Deleted (Only if the course is not in STADS yet): Discontinued and cancelled are important to use for history, but Deleted courses are deleted because they were created by mistake for example and does not need to be kept in history.
