The backend of the course list has a toolbar and the actual list of courses, which depends on what filters, sorting and groups has been applied. Here you can also make new courses, copy courses and bulk update courses. Lastly you have access to three core data lists and three data pulls for comparing different advanced things.

Toolbar walk through
In this section the toolbar will be explained button for button.
Some of the buttons may not be visible for you if you do not have the permissions to use that function.
1. Views
Here you can save a view of the data you have made with filters, columns and/or groups. This is for quicker access at a later date. learnIT will also save the view you are working with even if you leave the Course Catalogue and return later.
2. Filters - Course Catalog
Adds filters to the data.
3. Columns
Here you can check off which columns you want in the view.
4. Group
Here you can choose a column to group the data by.
5. New
Here you can create new courses.
6. Copy
Here you can copy courses from earlier semesters if they are to be offered again.
7. Bulk update
Certain parts of courses can be edited bulk if you need to make the same change to many courses.
8. Search
The search field will filter the list with whatever you write here.
9. Pagination
This button toggles page view of the list or one long list.
10. Toggle detailed list
This changes the list to a more detailed view.
11. Export - Course Catalog
Here you can export the list to an Excel sheet.
From this menu you can access three lists: Programmes, Options, Periods, and three data set for comparing STADS, Moodle and enrollments.

These small block just below the toolbar indicates what filters are active.
Sorting
Below the toolbar you can sort the list on which column you like by clicking the column name.
