Using the Video Resource in learnIT, you can easily add video content to your course as a specialized resource.
This resource is very simple. It enables you to give the resource a name and add a video from your media library. Afterwards, the video will be available to your students from the course page like any other activity or resource added to the course.
Copying a Video Resource to another course
When copying a video resource from one course to another, the video needs to be relinked before it works. If not, you will be met with this error message: "This media is no longer available."
To fix this problem, you need to follow these steps:
- Locate the Video Resource you need to re-link
- Select "Edit"
- Scroll down and select "Replace Media"
- A pop-up window will appear and you have to find the video from your Media Library and click "Embed".
- (optional) Hit save and return to course. Note: For some reason, you do not actually need to click save in order for the re-linking to happen.
- Now the video has been re-linked.
